Obituary of Marie Willis Shoulders

Marie Willis Shoulders, age 92 of Gallatin, passed away Monday, February 25, 2019.  Funeral Service will be Friday, March 1^st at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Walter Andrews officiating.  Visitation will be Thursday, February 28^th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Friday, March 1^st from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow the service at Crestview Memory Gardens, with Roger Willis, Randy Willis, Josh Willis, Dylan Willis, Ryan Willis, Anthony Willis, and David Dowel serving as pallbearers. 

Mrs. Shoulders was born March 15, 1926 in Macon County, to the late Herman Alver Tuck and Beluah Chambers Hesson Tuck.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Lee Willis; second husband, Claude Shoulders; son, Travis Willis; grandson, Daniel Willis; and great grandson, Tyler R. Overstreet.  She is survived by son, Ricky Willis of Gallatin; daughter, Margie Fay Lillard (Bill) of Gallatin; sister, Wenell Faye Friley of Indianapolis, IN; 11 grandchildren, Jana Rigsby (Ricky), Leigh Anne Chandler (Tony), Troy Hunt, Anthony Willis, Ryan Willis, Paige Willis, Julia Willis, Roger Willis, Randy Willis, Brandon Willis, and Brittany Jerrett; 23 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.  She was a long time member of Buffalo Springs Missionary Baptist Church.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.   Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
