Obituary of Gary Lee Kilgore

Gary Lee Kilgore, age 77 of Castalian Springs, passed away 03/13/2019.  Graveside Service will be Monday, March 18^th at 2:00 p.m. at Crestview Memory Gardens.  Visitation will be Monday, March 18^th from 12:00 – 1:45 p.m. at Family Heritage Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL  33607 or Adoration Hospice, 545 Mainstream Dr. #413, Nashville, TN 37228.

Mr. Kilgore was born February 10, 1942 in Stevenson, AL to the late Raymond Lee Kilgore of Stevenson, Alabama and Edna Mae Miller of South Pittsburg, Tennessee.  He is survived by wife of 54 years, Kerren Pierce Riggle Kilgore; son, Josh Lee Pierce Kilgore (Terra) in Mt. Juliet; and granddaughter, Harper Lyndi Kilgore.  Gary graduated from Gallatin High School in 1960.  He attended MTSU in Murfreesboro, TN and completed the TVA Apprenticeship as a Boilermaker and retired from Boilermakers Local #455 after over 30 years of service.  He was a member of the Gallatin Gun Club, a Life Member of the National Rifle Association, and served in the Tennessee National Guard.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
