Obituary of Joseph "Joe" Davis

DAVIS, Joseph “Joe”, age 87 of Hermitage passed away March 16, 2019. Mr. Davis retired from Ford Glass after 45 years and was a Deacon at the Old Hickory Church of God of Prophecy. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing on Old Hickory Lake. He is the Best Grandfather ever. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Davis; daughters, Sandra Davis and Lisa (Philip) Hayes; brother, Lloyd Davis; sister, Jean Criswell; grandchildren, Andrea Davis and Megan (Matt) Rucker; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 20th at 1:30 pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bro. Danny Sellars officiating. Interment will follow the service at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, March 19th from 4-8 pm and Wednesday, March 20th from 12 noon until time of service.
