Obituary of Millie Catron Williams

Millie Catron Williams was born on March 28, 1926 in Ben Hur, Virginia. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 4, 2019. She passed away peacefully with her angels by her side in the home she shared with her beloved sister, Dot Poag. 

Millie was married to the late Robert E Williams, whom she called the love of her life. 

 

Survivors include her two children; her daughter Gail W. Keener; her son Dr. David Woodson and his wife Becky Woodson; her granddaughters Stephanie Woodson and Rebekah Woodson DeFeo (Paul); her great-grand son Vincent DeFeo. She was also predeceased by her son-in-law Dolan K. Keener. 

 

Her parents were McKinley Catron Sr. and Golden Vida Moore Catron of Gallatin, Tn. She had two brothers and two sisters; John H Catron (Frances) of Gallatin; McKinley Catron Jr. (Bonnye)of Shelbyville, Tn; Dorthy Catron Poag (Dalcomb) of Gallatin, Tn; the late Nathleen Catron Witt Skinner (Roy) of Nashville, Tn. 

 

Millie had numerous nephews and nieces whom she loved and adored. 

 

Millie retired from Baptist Hospital where she met her late husband Bob Williams. They both enjoyed traveling and lived their lives to the fullest. They both loved the Lord Jesus. She was always encouraging those around her near and far with her words, paintings, cards and her life.

 

Services will be at Family Heritage Funeral Home on April 13, 2019.

Visitation will be at 10 am followed by an 11am service. She will lay at rest beside her beloved Bob in Madison, Tennessee at the Nashville National Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Avalon Hospice.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
