Obituary of Mary Ruth Ricketts

Mary Ruth Ricketts passed away on May 2, 2019 at age 90.  The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN, on Friday from 4-8 pm and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service.  The Funeral Service is 11 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2019 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home.  Interment in Wilson County Memorial will follow the service.

               Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and was a great cook.  She was a member of Highland Heights Church of Christ.  Mary loved going to auctions and collecting glassware.  She was proud to be Valedictorian of Watertown High School, Class of 1947.  She is preceded in death by her parents Austin and Pattie Lea, husband Robert T. Ricketts, 4 brothers Robert Lea, A.C. Lea, David Lea, and Kenneth Lea, 2 sisters Hester Howard and Virginia Hallums,brothers-in-laws: Billy Trice and Bobby Barnes; and grandchild Lealand.  She is survived by sisters Lucille (Douglas) Hobbs, Margie Trice, and Sue Barnes; sons: Robert Austin Ricketts and Joe Wayne Ricketts, grandchildren: Robbie, John, Nick, Cody, and Crystal Ricketts; great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Scarlett, Dalton, Dominick, Sheena, Chyeene, and Paigley; special friends: Reggie, Teresa, and Jessica Howse; and loving pet: Peanut.  Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN, 615.444.9393.
