Obituary of Jerry Lee Chastain, Sr.

Jerry Lee Chastain, Sr., age 72 of Red Boiling Springs, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019.  Funeral Service will be Tuesday, May 28^th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Monday, May 27^th from 11:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, May 28^th from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will follow the service at New Hope Cemetery, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Mr. Chastain was born August 4, 1946 in Martin County, IN to the late Peter I. Chastain and Iva Marie Gilbert Russell.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Charles Chastain, Gene Chastain, Jim Chastain, and Gerald Gilbert; and sisters, Rosalie Pike and Emily Gilbert.  He is survived by wife of 54 years, Linda Lou Key Chastain; sons, Jerry Lee Chastain, Jr. (Pamela) of Portland, Denny Joe Chastain (Kassy) of Mattoon, IL, and Mark Allen Chastain (Margie) of Cottontown; brother, Thomas J.
