Obituary of Eldon Horner

HORNER, Eldon, age 82 of Lebanon, Tennessee, passed away on June 7^th, 2019. Mr. Horner was a deacon at Silver Springs Baptist Church in Mt. Juliet and West Hills Baptist Church in Lebanon. He enjoyed quail hunting, coon hunting, horseback riding, and gardening. He was an avid hunter and golfer.

            The Funeral Service, conducted by Pastor Jonas Taylor, will be held on Tuesday, June 11^th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery with Chad Horner, Chase Horner, Dart Horner, Omer Mayo, Chet Melvin, and Robby Ragan serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 10^th from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, June 11^th from 12:00 p.m. until service time.

            He is survived by loving wife of 57 years, Shirley Horner; sons, Dart Horner and Chad (Stacey) Horner; grandson, Chase Horner; great-grandson, Robert Cade Horner; brother, Derrell (Mary) Horner; special cousin, Juble Horner; several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends also survive. He was preceded in death by parents, Clyde J. and Christine Neely Horner; sisters, Clydene Horner and Joann Clark.
