Obituary of Joyce Gaynell Wagoner

Joyce Wagoner passed away on June 9, 2019 at the beautiful age of 80.  The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon, Tennessee on Friday, June 14th from 2 p.m. until the Memorial  Service at 4 p.m.

Joyce is survived by children: Stephanie Wagoner (Chris) Teichmiller, Julie Wagoner Terry and William Sutton (Rae) Wagoner III.  She has seven grandchildren who are her pride and joy: Ainsley Wagoner, Ann Sutton Teichmiller Smith, Nichols Teichmiller, Caroline Terry, Sarah Terry, Abigail Terry and William Terry.  She is also survived by brothers Nickey (Debbie) Faught, Randy Watson and Rodger (Jane) Cleveland and sister-in-law Diane Hester.  She also has numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her husband, William Sutton Wagoner, Jr and her parents Sylvia Mae Watson and Ambres Nichols Faught.

Joyce was an avid Bridge-player. She enjoyed a competitive game and has many friends that enjoyed playing with her.  She also enjoyed traveling and visited many countries over the last 15 years.  Her work ethic was evident throughout her career with Kentucky Department of Corrections. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed reading, gardening, canning, sewing and antique furniture.  Her quick wit, common sense and life-advice will be missed by all who knew and loved her!
