Obituary of Wendi Leigh Warren

Wendi Warren passed away on June 16, 2019 at age 45.  The family will be receiving friends at Friendship Christian School (5400 Coles Ferry Pike, Lebanon TN) on Thursday, June 20, 2019 from 4 – 8 p.m.  Funeral Services will be private.  

               Mrs. Warren was a 1991 graduate of Friendship Christian School.  Wendi received many awards while attending FCS, including Miss FCS and Spirit of Friendship.  She graduated with honors from David Lipscomb University.  She also received a Series Seven Certification.  Wendi was a member of Berea Church of Christ.  She loved summer and winter trips to Colorado and Evins Mill in Smithville with her husband and parents. 

               Mrs. Warren is survived by her husband Dr. Larimore Warren; parents: Ron and Diane Welch; sister: Kristi Welch; special niece and nephew: Jayda and Jayce; bonus children: Bess Anne Warren, Josh (Clare) Warren, Jon Warren, and Amanda Warren; bonus grandchildren: Cason and Jones Warren; aunts: Becky Norsworthy, Gail (Eddie) Eakes, and Janet (Paul) Singleton; uncle: Rick (Heidi) Slaughter; the “Travel Girls”; and many other special friends.  She is preceded in death by maternal grandparents Duane and Lyla Slaughter and paternal grandparents Jake and Willie Vern Welch.
