Obituary of Ben Latta

LATTA, Benjamin "Ben", age 91 of Hermitage passed away June 26, 2019. Mr. Latta served in the US Army from 1945-1947. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge for 60 years in Roxboro, North Carolina and Cocoa Beach, FL where he earned his 33rd degree. Mr. Latta was preceded in death by parents, Joseph Edward Latta, Sr. and Beatrice Lloyd Latta; and brothers, Joseph Edward Latta, Jr. and James Buchanan Latta. He is survived by wife, Pattie Latta; children, Mike (Elaine) Latta and Vicki (Mike) Primm; sisters, Janet (Keith) Goodson and Doris Pillow; grandchildren, Matthew (Mandy) Latta, Melisa (Sam) Farrow, Melinda (Derrell) Mullis, Bailey (Sterling) Ziegler and Scott (Rachel) Primm; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 12, 2019 at 3:00 pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. Visitation with the family will be Friday, July 12, 2019 from 2:00 - 3:00 pm. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Durham, NC.
