Obituary of John Wesley Adcock

John Wesley Adcock, age 75 of Bethpage, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019.  Funeral Service will be Sunday, September 1^st at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Charles Carr officiating.   Visitation will be Sunday, September 1^st from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 4:00 p.m.  Interment will follow the service at Bradley Cemetery, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.

Mr. Adcock was born May 22, 1944 in Bethpage to the late James Adcock and Clara Thompson Adcock.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Joe Adcock, Randel Adcock, and James Robin Adcock; and sisters, Jennie Campbell, Irene Keen, and Evelyn Bell.  He is survived by wife of 33 years, Carol Jean Carr Adcock of Bethpage; sons, Doug Adcock of Indiana, Tracy White (Debbie) of Portland, and Kenny Brawner of Bethpage; daughter, Stacey Duffer of Portland; brother, Harold “Shorty” Adcock of Indiana; sisters, Joyce Hall (Eddie) of Gallatin, Darby Teckenbrock of Indiana, and Ethel May Watson of Gallatin; 10 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.  Mr. Adcock played Santa Claus at Christmas.   Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
