Obituary of Erma "Kay" Whited Whitman

Erma “Kay” Whited Whitman, age 76 of Gallatin, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019.  Funeral Service will be Sunday, October 6^th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Friday, October 4^th from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., Saturday, October 5^th from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., and Sunday, October 6^th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will follow the service at Bradley Cemetery, with Robert Thomas Whited, Michael Moss, David Moss, Tony Dyer, Keith Cunningham, and Chris Cunningham serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Whitman was born February 27, 1943 in Gallatin to the late Robert Earl Whited and Dannie Key Whited.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother, Robert Earl Whited, Jr.; and sisters, Sue Moss, Jo Ray, and Willie Hite.  She is survived by brothers, Tommy Whited (Beverly) of Castalian Springs and Robert Whited of Gallatin; and sister, Mary Ester Dyer.  She worked for Cherokee Steakhouse and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
