Obituary of Mildred Ray Cornwell

Mildred Ray Cornwell, age 92 of Gallatin, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019.  Graveside Service will be Sunday, October 20^th at 3:00 p.m. at Crestview Memory Gardens.  Mrs. Cornwell was born March 25, 1927 in Canton, Ohio to the late Charlie Ray and Ella Velma Buch Ray.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sisters, Ruby Ray and Virginia Huffines.  She is survived by children, Brenda Sue Kirby (Ed) of Gallatin and Michael Wayne Christian (Karen) of Estero, Florida; 2 grandchildren, Casey Cox and Dylan Cox; and 1 great grandchild, Brooks David Henry.  Mrs. Cornwell was a member of Inglewood Missionary Baptist Church.  She retired from DuPont after many years of service and worked for Gallatin Health Care for 10 ½ years.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
