Obituary of Judy Young Rich

Judy Young Rich, age 71 of Gallatin, passed away Friday, November 22, 2019.  Funeral Service will be Monday, November 25^th at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Randy Goodman officiating.  Visitation will be Monday, November 25^th from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m.  Interment and Graveside Service will be Monday, November 25^th at 2:30 p.m. at Whorton Springs Cemetery, 2976 McMinnville Hwy, Smithville, TN  37166.  Honoring her as pallbearers are Gary Gill, Gordon Gill, Gray Gill, Charles Mason Young, Johnny Knight, Kevin Jones, and Jim Bondurant.  Memorials may be made to Whorton Springs Cemetery, 2976 McMinnville Hwy, Smithville, TN  37166.

Mrs. Rich was born February 3, 1948 in Smithville to the late Charles Austin Young and Evelyn Gene Davis Young.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother, Danny Stephen Young; and nephew, Jeffrey Layne Young.  She is survived by son, Eric Rich (Kristi) of Murfreesboro; brothers, Gene Austin Young (Betty) of Smithville and Glynn Davis Young of Hendersonville; grandchild, John Neumann; nephew and niece, Charles Mason Young (Kandice) and Nikki Knight (Johnny); and great nieces and nephew, Elizabeth Young, Chelsea Young, Macey Young, Sydney Young, Eric Knight, Chad Knight, and Kaley Knight.  Mrs. Rich was a local educator in Smith County and Sumner County.  She graduated from Tennessee Tech University.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
