Obituary of Douglas Dwayne Tidwell

<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Mr. Douglas Dwayne Tidwell, age 56 of Madison, TN went into the loving arms of the Lord, June 25, 2018. He was a jack of all trades but specialized in wood flooring and plumbing. He loved his family, friends and his coon dogs. He enjoyed getting out into the woods with his buddies and waiting for Jack to tree and start yelping at an ole coon. His eyes would just light up and there he would go with his light on his head through the woods.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Doug had a very giving heart and gave to anyone who needed help. He would give his last penny to any homeless person he saw. He will be missed on earth so very much but will live on in our hearts until we meet again.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Doug was preceded in death by: Father, Edgar Neal Tidwell; Sisters, Thereasa Gail Honeycutt &amp; Patricia &ldquo;Trisha&rdquo; Lynn Tidwell and Sons, Austin Derek Ladd and Thomas &ldquo;Tommy&rdquo; Elmer Ladd.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Survived by: Mother, Dorothy Lee Andrews Tidwell; the other half of his heart, Glynna Lynn Baker-Madison, TN; Daughter, Ashley Lynn (Steven) Henley-Hartsville, TN; Son, Davian Randall (Jennifer) Ladd-Thompson Station, TN; 11 Grandchildren; One Great Grandson; Brother, Paul Timothy &ldquo;Timmy&rdquo; Tidwell-Nolensville, TN; Sisters, Wanda Sue Givens-Adams, TN, Linda Faye Gipson-Nashville, TN and Mellissa Lee Matney-Nolensville, TN; Several Nieces and Nephews; Special Mother-In-Law and his extended family of many lifelong special friends.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Graveside services were held at 11 AM Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Our Family Angels Cemetery, 965 Honeyprong Rd., Hartsville, TN conducted by Rev. Amos Wilson.&nbsp;It was Doug&rsquo;s wishes to be buried in the family cemetery on top of the hill. A Celebration of Life Service was held following the graveside service.
