Obituary of Doris Cornwell

Mrs. Doris Vance “Dot” Cornwell, age 85 of Dixon Springs, TN passed away Monday morning, December 16, 2019 at Skyline Medical Center, Nashville, TN.

Preceded in death by:  Parents, Oscar & Edna Kittrell; Husband, Kenneth Cornwell; Granddaughter, Holly Cornwell and Sisters, Anne Linville & Net Petty.

Survived by:  4 Sons, Mike Cornwell-Dixon Springs, TN, Rick (Jan) Cornwell-Dixon Springs, TN, Dwight (Sheila) Cornwell-Dixon Springs, TN and Don (Anita) Cornwell-Hartsville, TN; 4 Grandchildren, Ryan (Emily) Cornwell, Logan Cornwell, Ashley (Cody) Thayer & Adam Cornwell and Caregiver, Lucy Cox.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Anthony Funeral Home at 11 AM Thursday, December 19, 2019 conducted by Bro. Jack McCall and Bro. Abe Zimmerman. Interment will be in the Dixon Springs Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 3 to 8 PM Wednesday and 9 AM until service time Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Monroe Carrell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
