Obituary of Dorothy Lee "Dot" Frazor

Dorothy Lee “Dot” Frazor, age 73 of Hendersonville, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020. Funeral Service will be Sunday, January 12th at 2:00 p.m. at Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 3216 Long Hollow Pike, Hendersonville, TN 37075, with Rev. Jeff Dewees officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, January 11th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Family Heritage Funeral Home, 100 Albert Gallatin Avenue, Gallatin, TN 37066 and Sunday, January 12th from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow the service at Beech Cemetery, with grandsons honoring her as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 4825 Trousdale Drive, Suite 200, Nashville, TN 37220. Mrs. Frazor was born July 12, 1946 in Harvey, IL to the late Robert Merrell Baker and Connie Fulmer Baker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by daughter, Penny Jacobs; and brothers, Jimmy Baker and Lynn Baker. She is survived by husband of 42 years, Arthur Frazor of Hendersonville; daughters, Nickie Stone (Nathan) of Hendersonville and Katherine Schurer (Paul) of Chattanooga; brother, Jackie Baker of Winchester; sisters, Joyce Grant (Wayne) of Chattanooga, Geraldine Neal of Winchester, and Gwen Wilkerson (Sterling) of Winchester; 8 grandchildren, Nolan Mathis, Kristian Terrell (Julian), Stacey Hartley (Darryl), Haley Jones (Will), Forrest Stone, Alton Stone, Reagan Stone, and Josh Schurer; and 8 great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Frazor worked for Sears, Tennessee State Unemployment Office, Odom’s Tennessee Pride Sausage Company, and Beech High School. Dot was a long-time member of Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church, serving in the choir and “Night Lights” lady’s group. She loved gardening and flowers and was known as the “Flower Lady”.
