Obituary of Bryan J. Stuart

Bryan J. Stuart, passed into the presence of our Lord on Saturday, January 11, 2020. He was born on December 21, 1953 to John and Margaret Stuart and raised in Levittown, PA. He married his high school sweetheart, Elise on March 3, 1973. Bryan proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1972 – 1976, ending rank was Corporal. He started his own business, B. J. & Son Carpentry, family owned and operated in 1980. It truly was family run as his wife and two children worked side by side in all aspects of his business. He enjoyed teaching his children his trade from a very young age. Bryan made a decision 34 years ago to accept Christ as his Lord and Savior. He became a changed man and devoted his life to serving God with a child like spirit. He went on his first mission trip to Haiti in 1986 which ignited a deep passion in his heart to help spread the gospel and through his construction skills helped those less fortunate. During this journey, he ministered in Haiti, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Grenada, St. Vincent and St. Maarten. He enjoyed a second career in truck driving, teaching Sunday School, nursing home ministry and consistently encouraged people spiritually through phone calls on his long drives. He loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting were his passion. In the final years of his life, he loved spending time and making memories with his wife, his daughter and son-in-love, his son and daughter-in-love and his six grandchildren. He leaves behind his wife, Elise, his two children, Jennifer (Chris) Blaney, Michael (Sheree) Stuart. He was also a proud grandfather to Anna, Mary, Emma and Benjamin Blaney and Shauna and Morgan Stuart.
