Mr. Horace Cecil Chaffee, age 99 of Hartsville, TN passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 11, 2020 at his home. Preceded in death by: Parents, Park & Margaret Chaffee; 2 Sons, Larry & Jerry Chaffee; Step Son, Terry Lee Roddy and 7 Brothers and Sisters, Margaret, Judd, Albert, Melvin, Lawrence, Clifford & George. Survived by: Wife, Shirley Chaffee-Hartsville, TN; Son, Gary (Jan) Chaffee-Kennesaw, GA; 2 Daughters, Jeanine McCullough-McMinnville, TN & Linda (Dean) Evens-Portland, TN; 2 Step Sons, Daniel Roddy-Byrdstown, TN & Cliff (Gail) Roddy-Knoxville, TN; 14 Grandchildren, Vaughn, Bryan, Kelly & Kimberly Weisner, Rick Cook, Robin Cook-Rudicel, Amanda Farmer, Chris Chaffee, Amy Rutzen, Clint Chaffee, Brett, Brooke, Hayley & Casey Roddy; 29 Great Grandchildren and Several Great Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Anthony Funeral Home at 2 PM Sunday, March 15, 2020 conducted by Bro. Harley Roth. Interment will be in the Hartsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be from 2 to 8 PM Saturday and 10 AM until service time Sunday.
