Obituary of Nelda Jane Castleman

Nelda Jane Castleman, age 77 of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, March 16th, 2020. The Graveside Service, conducted by Bro. Danny Sellars, will be held at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens on Saturday, March 21st, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Tristan Baker, Larry Pharris, Chuck Baker, Jason Carpenter and Mike Johnson serving as pallbearers. Nelda was born on April 25th, 1942 to the late Marvin and Maudie Eakes Castleman. She grew up and lived in Mt. Juliet practically all her life. She was a fantastic artist and baker. She was a lover of books, horses, and a huge advocate for the conservation of wolves. Nelda’s absence will leave a great void in this world. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Kenneth “Cuz” Castleman. She is survived by daughter, Jaime Castleman; and grandson, Tristan Baker.
