Obituary of Thomas Wayne "Papa" Whitney

Thomas Wayne “Papa” Whitney, age 65 of Gallatin, TN, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020. Celebration of Life Service will be Friday, March 20th at Half Time Bar & Grill from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Mr. Whitney was born September 16, 1954 in Lake City, Minnesota to the late Charles D. Whitney, Sr. and Ruth L. Jostock Whitney. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by grandson, Aiden Riddle. He is survived by son, Charles “Chaz” Whitney of Bethpage; daughter, Sara Riddle (Clint) of North Carolina; brothers, Charles Whitney, Jr. (Carolyn) of Arizona, Peter Whitney (Jean) of Minnesota, Terry Whitney (Diane) of Minnesota, Steven Whitney of Arizona, and Randy Whitney (Joann) of Minnesota; sister, Katherine Whitney of Arizona; 5 grandchildren, Brodie Riddle, Zachary Riddle, Shawna Joan Cone (Josh), Cameron Whitney, and Hanna Whitney; and 4 great grandchildren, Logan Cone, Whitney Cone, Mayson Cone, and Colton Whitney. Mr. Whitney loved to play pool, joke, and hang out with his friends; he lived for his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
