Obituary of Elder Charles Henry Jones

Elder Charles Henry Jones, age 77, of Lafayette, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020, at Macon Community Hospital in Lafayette. Funeral services for Elder Charles Jones are scheduled to be conducted on Saturday, March 21, 2020, at 2 PM, from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Brother Tracy Deering and Elder G.W. Knight officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Friday, March 20, 2020, from 5 PM until 8 PM, and on Saturday, from 12 PM until service time at 2 PM. Family requests donations be made to the Days Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church. Elder Charles Henry Jones was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Keene Jones; grandson, Jeremy Brawner; parents, Elder Leon Jones and Mildred Claiborne Jones; brother, Miles Jones; and sister, Patty Sue Jones. Elder Charles Henry Jones is survived by; Daughters, Renee’ Harper and husband, Phil Sandra Brawner and husband, Hank Cindy Flinn Sisters, Sandra Knight and husband, Elder G.W. Mary Simpson and husband, Lewis Brenda Jones Grandchildren, Savanna Reid Kennedy Gann and husband, Logan Shane Brawner Bethany Kelton and husband, Jason Great-Grandchildren, Aynsley Hurst Adalee Reid Zach Emmitt Seairah Emmitt Carson Brawner Haley Brawner Eli Mungle Great-Great-Grandchild, Malcolm Emmitt A host of nieces and nephews also survive.
