Obituary of John S. Franklin

John S. Franklin, age 88 of Gallatin, passed away Friday, April 3, 2020. Celebration of Life Service will be Sunday, April 10, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Rehoboth United Methodist Church.  Visitation will be Sunday, April 10^th from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. at the church.  Interment was private at Historic Gallatin Cemetery.

Mr. Franklin was born April 29, 1931 in Gallatin to the late William A. Franklin, Sr. and Jama Sharp Franklin. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, William A. Franklin, Jr.; and sisters, Mary Calvert Franklin Sammons and Erlene Franklin Dulin. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary Boswell Franklin of Gallatin; son, John S. Franklin, Jr (Ann) of Nampa, ID; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Franklin proudly served our country in the United States Army. Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
