Obituary of Ray Rawls

Ray Rawls, 74, loving father and uncle, passed away peacefully at his home in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee surrounded by family on Monday, April 6th, 2020. A private gathering of close family and friends will be announced at a later date. Mr. Rawls was born on Tuesday, October 23rd, 1945 in Springfield, Tennessee to the late Arnold and Eva Rawls. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Jane Rawls. He is survived by loving daughter, Mindy Rawls; niece, Beth Rawls; great-niece, Lily Cash; aunt, Elizabeth Guttowsky; and cousin, Ross Carroll. Ray was an avid golfer, passionate home cook, and the king of dad jokes. He will forever be remembered for his wicked sense of humor that shined even throughout his sickness.
