Obituary of Leonard E. Ray

Leonard E. “Hollywood” Ray, went home to be with his Lord Jesus on Thursday, April 16th, 2020 with his very loving and dedicated wife, Teresa, by his side. Besides the wife that he loved so very much, he is survived by brother, Charlie Ray and a "special sis”, Shirley (Jack) Vickery. He is also survived by Joshua (Tammy) Nelson and Missy (Victor) Robbins; very special friends, Josh (Christy) Winfrey, David (Donna) Hudgens; childhood friend, Donnie Carr; Mark (Pam) Will and Travis (Christine) Harp; granddaughter, Caitlin Ray; and a very special Pastor, Hal Adcock. He was preceded in death by parents, Chester and Elveleen Ray; brother, Dewayne Ray; very special friend, Mike Bradshaw; and son, Jamie Ray. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 25th, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Pastor Hal Adcock. Leonard worked for R E West for many years as a semi Mechanic and Paint and Body. He also became Shop Manager over West Rents/National Lease. He eventually opened his own shop that he had for many years, became an auto broker, and an entrepreneur in many areas.
