Obituary of Paul William Filson

Mr. Paul William Filson, age 68, of Lafayette, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020, at his residence. Funeral Services for Mr. Paul William Filson are scheduled to be conducted on Saturday, May 16, 2020, at 2 PM, from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Brother Landy Presley and Brother Billy Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Macon County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Friday, May 15, 2020, from 5 PM until 9 PM, and on Saturday, from 9 AM until service time at 2 PM. Mr. Filson was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Filson and Lucille Likens Filson; and brother, David Filson. He is survived by; Wife, Brenda Filson Daughter, Tina Carey Son, Tim Case and wife, Kellye Daughter, Sherry Smith and husband, Jackie Grandchildren, Cory Case and wife, Stacie Russel Carey Justin Smith and wife, Savannah Kaylee Case and Kara Case Great-Grandchildren, Tyson Case, Brylee Case, Korbin “Korn bread” Case, and Porter Case Niece, Anette Jones and husband, Joel Great Nieces, Tiara Jones and Taylor Jones
