Obituary of James M. King

James M. King, age 72 of Bethpage, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020. Gathering of Friends will be Monday, June 22nd from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Family Heritage Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorials be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses. Mr. King was born April 24, 1948 in Nashville to the late William Douglas King and Roma Moore Jones King. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Dee Ellen Harness King. He is survived by daughters, Rachel Nuckols (Brian) of Gallatin, Carrie Davenport of Kingston Springs, TN, and Sara Tears (Fred) of Lake Worth, FL; stepdaughters, Michelle Conyer (Bud) of Gallatin, Miranda Patton (Billy) of Hendersonville, and Mallorie Owen of Bethpage; grandson whom he raised, Kenneth Blake Conyer; brothers, Charles R. King (Judy) of White House, TN and William D. King, Jr. (Janice) of Ten Mile, TN; 15 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. Mr. King was a member of the Iron Workers Union.
