Obituary of Edgar Lee Browner

Edgar Lee Browner, age 86 of Gallatin, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, July 1st at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. James Gregory officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 30th from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday, July 1st from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Crestview Memory Gardens, with Josh Carter, Kenny Taylor, Gary Freeman, Tony Stokes, T. J. Browner, and Charles T. Browner serving as pallbearers. Mr. Browner was born July 20, 1933 in Sumner County to the late Robert Browner and Minnie Shrum Browner. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Boone Browner; brothers, Thomas Browner and Frankie Browner; and sisters, Margaret Browner Bradley and Rebecca Browner Sumpter. He is survived by nephew, Charles R. Browner (Juanita) of Portland; niece, Peggy Baskerville Bass (Frank) of Portland; and several other nieces and nephews.
