Obituary of Robert Russell "Rusty" Butler, II

Robert Russell Butler, II, better known as “Rusty”, passed away peacefully at age 58 on Friday, July 3rd, 2020 at his home in Bethpage, surrounded by his loving family. The Funeral Service, conducted by Bro. Mike Nesbitt, will be held on Tuesday, July 7th, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Anthony Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Willow Grove Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 6th from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, July 7th from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. He is survived by loving wife of 30 years, Cathy Butler; daughters, Amanda Butler and Jennifer (Jason) Rickman; son, Jeffrey Milligan; grandchildren, Maisey Belcher, Aiden Rickman, Nolan Milligan, and Trevor Milligan; great-grandchildren, Ellie, Oliver, and Rowlan; parents, Robert and Patsy Butler; sisters, Kathleen (David) Ruffing, Wanda (Billy) Choate, and Jody Butler; nephews, Chris, Cody, Porter, and Steven. He was preceded in death by mother, Mary Elizabeth Gessner Walton. Rusty worked as a truck driver at both LoJac and Alley-Cassetty Brick & Block for several years. He had an appreciation for the outdoors and loved barns, wagons, and mules. Rusty was a family man and adored his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
