Nothing but admiration for a well lived Christian life. I am late but I want the family of Chalie Daniels to know that even a year later , they are still in my thoughts and prayers. I loved the CDB . R.I.P . to the best fiddler of all time.
I had the opportunity to hear him preform at Billy Bob’s Texas. It was amazing. I have loved all his music. I had listened to him from the minute I was born. I dad had his music playing in his truck while we washed. My condolences to the family.

I bought my 45 rpm record copy of "The Legend of Wooley Swamp" at a Walmart in Kosciusko, Mississippi in 1982-ish for $0.99. It became a flashpoint in my 12-year-old mind's development of musical taste & preference - I wanted it dark, mysterious & loud like Wooley Swamp! My sincere heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Hazel & the entire CDB family. God Bless you all & God Bless Charlie Daniels.
I have always loved Charlie Daniels and his music. He was an amazing child of the most loving God. I loved his appearance in the movie Urban Cowboy. It is one of my favorite movies. RIP Charlie Daniels you will always be remembered as a wonderful entertainer and you will forever be missed.
Chqrlie Daniel's was one of the greatest country music artists of all time, and his legend will live on through his music. He is a big reason why I wanted to be a country boy. You will be greatly missed and I hope I get to meet you in heaven and I bet you're playing one mean fiddle up there. My condolences goes to the Daniel's family, and im very sorry for all y'alls loss.
I send my condolences to your family for your staggering loss of a beautiful man. I was stationed at Ft. McClellan, Al in 1977 when I first heard Charlie's music, and went to see him play in Birmingham. He stunned me with his energy and musicality, one song rapidly followed by the next - left me breathless. At the end of his show I was consumed with love for him, his lyrics and incredible ability to play - and that continues today 43 years later. Rest in peace my brother, you were an inspiration to millions.
Charlie was a very devoted man. he was always giving from the heart. he was always glad to help people. you could tell that. you the family have my deepest sympathy. Barbara Sandridge Winchester Tenn

This world seems a little dimmer from the loss of such a great man. Great men are few and far between and I am thankful he was here to be a light and entertainer in this dark world. I bet there’s a heck of a concert going on today in heaven. Can’t wait to get there and hear him play. May God bless his family, band, and friends. May all of us enjoy the musical legacy he leaves behind. My deepest condolences to his immediate family.
I meet Mr Daniels when I lived on base with my grandfather whom served in WWII and Korea. My grandfather saluted Mr Daniels for all the military support he provided throughout the time. Mr Daniels stated that he should be the one saluting my grandfather. That was the first time I ever saw my grandfather shed a tear, all from the kindness Mr Daniels showed, God rest and let me finally solute him and his family. God Bless Mr Daniels and his family at this hard time.
Charlie was an amazing man. My favorite memory of him was from a Veterans Day breakfast at Victory Baptist Church. He was our guest speaker. His speech exemplified his deep love for our nation. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

1. Every time I think about the loss of this great American and musician, I am moved to tears. He has always been a favorite of mine then my youngest son and I shared our love for him and his music. my son, Patrick, who was a Marine was looking forward to seeing him in concert later this year after being gone several years and missing the chance. I always loved reading his soapbox post and agreed with his views. What a great Patriot and Christian. You will be truly missed Charlie. God Bless you.
I never had the opportunity to see Charlie Daniels in concert but I have listened to and loved every song I ever heard by him. He will forever be in my heart every time one of his songs plays on the radio. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, his many friends, and all his fans. God bless.

With deepest sympathy..
Charlie was a great Christian, a Southern gentleman, a patriot and unapologetically American. I grew up with "The Devil Went Down To Georgia." The world is a better place for him having been here. It's up to us to take what we learned from him and pass it on to the next generation. Be real, true to yourself, and don't back down. Love to the family, and always love and respect to Charlie.
Grew up listening to Charlie Daniels and still listen to Charlie today. My cousin plays keyboards for Charlie and I never got the chance to see them lately. He was the best and will definitely be missed by all who has ever heard him play. May God comfort you all at this trying time and in the days to come. R.I.P., Charlie Daniels!
Grew up listening to Mr. Charlie even when country wasn't cool. My best memory was seeing him live in Dallas Tx and performing The devil went down to Georgia. You will be sorely missed Mr. Daniels Rest in Peace
I remember standing in line at the Ryman for a funeral of someone who was in Country Music several years ago and we started talking. He was such a nice man to talk to. I always was so fond of the CDB band and saw them at Starwood when they played there. RIP Charlie you will be missed by many.
Charlie's rendition of the Christmas guest has stuck in my memory. My wife and kid's listened to it early on. I still think it's the best rendition ever. Great musician, great lover of his country and a enormous heart to help others. God has a special place for him. Thanks for the memories. RIP. I know heaven is enjoying some of the best fiddle playing ever.
I can remember growing up and listen to Charlie Daniels on the radio in the car with my family. When the song The devil went down to Georgia and Simple man came on there wasn’t quite anywhere. You could us singing smile away. Charlie will be for ever missed but your music will live on. Go rest high in that mountain as Vince Gill would sing. ..
I had the pleasure of seeing mr. Daniels for the first time in Morgantown West Virginia. What a great entertainer. He was the definition of a proud American. May he rest in peace and may his family find comfort and knowing he touched many lives throughout his career. It's always hard to lose a loved one but knowing he had the best time here on Earth and gave everyone lots of memories it's a great reason to celebrate his life. Sure hope he takes his fiddle with him because it made him happy.

My brother and I got the privelage to see Charlie perform almost exactly 1 year ago in concert. It was the best concert that we’ve ever been to. Charlie Daniel’s gospel music especially “The Door” has been of great encouragement and inspiration to our Christian Faith when times were hard. Charlie will always be one of my favorite musicians; I know he’s happy in heaven right now.
I only met Charlie once or twice while a DJ doing an interview for the station KRST in Albuquerque in the mid 70s. Kind, caring and affable, he treated me better than I deserved as it was my very first clumsy radio interview as a newly minted DJ. Via con Dios from the Turquoise Trail in NM-USA. .
I only got to see Charlie twice in concert. It was a great show both times. Thank you Charlie for the music and memories. You will be mussed. Our thoughts go out to your family during this time. (The Gage Family, Stockbridge, Ga)
I was fortunate enough to have seen him in concert many times. He was an amazing musician. I always said a great musician can do more with a note than most can do with a song, more with a song than most can do with an album, and more with an album than most could do in a lifetime. He definitely fit that bill. Anybody that hasn't seen him should go hit up you tube. On top of all of that, I appreciate what he stood for. He was a great American. He will be missed.
Our condolences on the passing of Mr. Daniels. He was a true American patriot and a wonderful storyteller with his music, which has been part of the fabric of many lives. I will be praying for comfort and peace for all of his family and friends. May God bless you all.

The first time I seen Charlie snd his band perform live in person, was at the Grants Pass , Oregon fair. What a pleasure and a remarkable concert. I will never forget, my experience to see him and his band live. What a memory. His compassion, to fulfill and treat his fans. I wish I could of met him in person. I was 25 at the time, I still remember, plain as day , 35 years later. What talent in all of his band and Charlie himself. God bless you, Charlie and your family. Rest easy Sir, you deserve it.
Charlie, thank you so much for your music and for being the true patriot that you were. Your music and service to vets will never be forgotten . May God welcome you home and bless your family. Thank you

Gonna miss him for sure. The few shows I performed with him were always memorable. Charlie would always thank me and the band for doing our part in the music world. He was so humble about everything. Loved his family, crew and fans. Got to put a few stickers on some of his old road cases. A legend and a true class act. Fly high.
My condolences to the Family. I'm a life long fan. I was first introduced to Charlies music when i was about 13 years old in the mid- 80's. It was in Deer camp in Southern Garvin County, Oklahoma.
My cousin had a cassette tape of "A Decade of Hits". I had heard Devil went down to Georgia on the radio, when song #2 played "The South is Gonna Do It Again", I was instantly hooked.
I listen the that tape front and back. Then turned we it over and listened to it again about 5 more times front to back. What a masterpiece
I since seen him concert 3 times. Last time was in 2013 in Tulsa. A special moment when talked about Charlie Jr being born at St. Francis in Tulsa, OK.

I met Charlie Daniels around 30 years ago in Williamsburg, Ky. Charlie was signing autographs. I had a Charlie Daniels VCR tape and a cassette with me. When it was my turn, I told the man beside Charlie that I didn't know which item I wanted signed. Charlie said I'll sign both, stood up took the items, took both of the casing sleeves off, signed them, put everything back, gave me my items, shook my hand and told me to have a good day. That's my best memory of Charlie Daniels. Charlie didn't have to take that extra step, but that's Charlie. Michelle and I saw Charlie at the Kentucky State Fair with Colt Ford. She said a few times that was one of the most enjoyable concert that she has seen. Charlie Daniels was awesome to listen to and meet he is one of our generations best singer/ songwriter. I've been a fan since the 70's , what an honor to meet
I me Charlie Daniels right after he had broke his arm in a tractor accident in Mt Juliet TN. I was a store manager at the grocery store where he shopped.

As a child I grew up in a small town in southern Maryland called North Beach. It was there I first got a chance to meet Charlie Daniels in a night club called Uncle Billies. I was small but my sister was a teenager and she became friends with Charlie and the boys in his band. I don't know the name of the band but I have a picture of them that we have had in the family since the mid 50's. He and his band (at that time) came to our house to eat when my mom fixed them a home cooked meal. My condolences to Charlies family his wife Hazel his son Charlie Jr. and all Charlie Daniels fans from around this great country. Play your fiddle hard you will be missed by so many!

I was serving in the US Army in Germany. My division (1st Armored) was called to combat in Kuwait and Sadi Arabia. When we returned, Charles Daniels welcomed us home with a free concert. I’ve been a long time fan and will miss him.

RIP Mr. Daniels. My I have listened to your music since I was little. All my growing up every one said my daddy looked just like you. He and loved your generosity and patriotism. You will be missed greatly. My condolences to Hazel and Charlie, Jr.
I attended a number of Charlie's Volunteer Jams and loved, loved, loved his music. He was the type of person that you felt like you knew, whether you had ever met him or not. He was a great humanitarian, patriotic, and he loved everyone. He will be greatly missed. But we have his music to keep his memory alive. Rest easy dear soul. Love you Charlie.
We got to see Charlie Daniels in concert one year when Marty Stuart opened for him. Charlie and his band are awesome. Love his music. He will be missed by so many.
Cousin Charlie loved Uncle George and Aunt Faye Inman. We send our love to his beloved wife and son from his many cousins and family and friends in Elizabethtown North Carolina. We will miss you.
Thank you, God, for sharing Charlie Daniels with this world. I know that he's there with You in Heaven. His Home-going has left a huge empty space here on Earth. Prayers going up for his loved ones. Love you, Mr. Charlie Daniels.
The world has lost an amazing talent and a truly good man. Charlie loved God, his family, and his country. They just don't make men like that anymore. My deepest thoughts and prayers are with his family and all who loved him. He's playing that golden fiddle in Heaven now!
RIP Charlie. Here is Charlie in 1974 at WPDQ FM Jacksonville with me. I have cherished this photo as well as Charlie for 46 years. He was very generous, well loved and extremely honest..A class guy that I will miss for the rest of my life.
I've known Charlie for several years. Had many a great conversations with this brilliant man. The most level headed GOD fearing patriot this old world has ever seen.
While I am going to miss him so very much, I know he is celebrating with Jesus at the right hand of GOD. He has his crown that is filled with many, many jewels.
All of us that had the great pleasure of knowing this amazing man are better simply because we knew him. The advise he gave was always from the heart and given with nothing but love and respect.
Those shoes will never be filled, but he will never be forgotten. He touched so many lives.
Thoughts and Prayers for Mrs. Hazel, Charlie, Jr., the many friends and the millions of fans.
Rest Easy my friend... I'll see you again one day!
