Obituary of Levie Gene Sullivan

Levie Gene Sullivan, age 78 of Gallatin, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020. Graveside Service will be Saturday, July 25th at 1:00 p.m. at Crestview Memory Gardens, with Bro. Jacob Sullivan officiating. Honoring him as pallbearers will be Blake Holmes, Will Holmes, Tyler Barker, Hunter Herd, Johnny Sullivan, and Chase Sullivan. Visitation will be Friday, July 24th from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Family Heritage Funeral Home and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 at Family Heritage Funeral Home. Mr. Sullivan was born February 24, 1942 in Bethpage to the late Thomas Willis Sullivan and Mable Earline Carter Sullivan; and siblings, Buck Sullivan, Robert Sullivan, Peggy Agee, Polly Ann Pedigo, Betty Sullivan, and Virginia Shrum. He is survived by wife of 53 ½ years, Judy Hardin Sullivan of Gallatin; daughter, Tammy Holmes Reed (Ronald) of Bethpage; sister, Blondie Faye Sullivan of Bethpage; 4 grandchildren, Kelsey Holmes, William Richard Holmes II (Kristen Perry), Brittany Herd (Hunter), and Blake Holmes (Natalie Hunt); and 5 great grandchildren, Peyton Holmes, Kyleigh Holmes, Olivia Herd, Nolan Herd, and Nora Herd. He worked for Gapco and retired from Imperial Fabrication after 36 years of service. He was a member of Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Bethpage.
