Obituary of Billy Eugene Hammons

Billy Eugene Hammons, age 89 of Gallatin, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020. There will be a Private Graveside Service held at a later date. Mr. Hammons was born October 22, 1930 in Wichita Falls, TX to the late Philip Hayden Hammons and Cecile Stewart Hammons. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Donald R. Hammons. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Marilyn Brown Hammons of Gallatin; daughters, Susan Clark of Gallatin and Jean Ingram (David) of Gallatin; 2 grandchildren, Shanon Baldini (Marcus) and Ralston Cole Massey (Amber Gilday); and 1 great grandchild, Sophia Rose Baldini. Mr. Hammons served our country in the United States Marine Corps and the United States Air Force. He retired from Globe after 33 years of service.
