Obituary of Karen Lynn Marino

Karen Lynn Marino passed away Wednesday, August 5, at the age of 62 after a brief illness. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Darnell and Edna Linville and her brother, Bobby Linville. She is survived by her husband of nine years, Thomas J. Marino; her sister, Elaine Crigger; niece, Stephanie Shaffer along with many friends and loved ones. Karen was employed with Willis Towers Watson in the payroll department. She enjoyed her job but her true passion was music. She sang in her church choir and toured for ten years with “Sounds of Joy,” recording seven albums. She helped start the children’s program known as the AWANAS. She loved the Lord, her family and her church family dearly. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, August 8th at 11 am at Center Point General Baptist Church, 1002 Center Point Rd., Hendersonville, TN with Pastor Mike Trotter officiating. Visitation with the family will be Friday, August 7th from 6-8 pm at Sellars Funeral Home, 108 Monthaven Blvd., Hendersonville, TN and Saturday, August 8th from 10 am until service time at Center Point General Baptist Church.
