Obituary of Laymon Lee Davis

Laymon Lee Davis, age 79 of Gallatin, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020. There will be a “Drive Through Visitation” Wednesday, August 19th at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be private for the immediate family, and will be live streamed @ololcconline.com at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 21st. Please direct any flower deliveries to Our Lady of The Lake Catholic Church. Mr. Davis was born February 13, 1941 in Mitchellville, TN to the late Jefferson Davis and Janie Hinton Davis. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Georgianne Kwiecinski Davis; and sisters, Carolyn Roark and Betty Williams. He is survived by daughters, Colette Hardin (David) of Gallatin and Chantelle Pruter (Glenn) of Murfreesboro; brother, Kenneth Davis (Pam) of Gallatin; brother-in-law, William Roark of Arkansas; 3 grandchildren, Kristen Timmie (Jacob), Leah Pruter, and Luke Pruter; 1 great grandchild, Gerard Davis Timmie; and lady friend, Kathleen Robbins of Hendersonville.
