Obituary of Timothy Eugene Linville

Timothy Eugene Linville, age 57 of Bethpage, TN, went to be with our Lord surrounded by family at home on August 12, 2020. Tim was born August 23, 1962 to Bobby Joe and Katherine Linville. Tim was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Joe Linville; sister, Katherine Elaine, and grandparents, Jasper and Myrtle Linville and Billy and Ruth Dorris. Tim is survived by his wife, Lisa Linville; mother, Katherine Linville; brothers, Kerry Linville (Corey) of Hartsville, Joey Linville (Mary) of Hartsville, Jay Linville (Tina) of Lafayette, and Paul Linville (Kim) of Lafayette; sister Melony Davis (Ken) of Hartsville; children Kristina Vetetoe of Hartsville, Jonathan Linville (Tosha) of Cleveland, Victoria Garoutte (Jaron) of Pasadena , Maryland, Brittany Stover (Andrew) of Gallatin, Zach Townsend (Myra) of Lebanon, Allison Bentley (Josh) of Chattanooga, Hannah Patterson (Dylan) of Bethpage. He is survived by grandchildren Nolan and Ryleigh Vetetoe, Jenson and Jayden Linville, Haylee and Sophia Townsend, Gavin and Mason Stover, and Annabel Garoutte. Mr. Linville was born in Gallatin, TN and graduated from Portland High School. He worked in many various positions and had an enormous love for life. He battled ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) for 10 years and was an inspiration to all that knew him. He was a member of Hendersonville Missionary Baptist Church. A service will be conducted on Friday, August 14, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home with Elder Bennie Matthews officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be family and friends. A special thank you to friends and relatives that provided so much comfort and support.
