Obituary of Frederick "Michael" Zimmerlee

Frederick “Michael” Zimmerlee, age 39 of Hendersonville, passed away Monday, August 24, 2020. There will be a Celebration of Life/Gathering of Friends Saturday, October 3rd at 1:00 p.m. at Rockland Recreational Area, Shelter 2-A, Power Plant Road, Hendersonville, TN 37075. Mr. Zimmerlee was born June 15, 1981 in Davidson County. He is preceded in death grandparents, William Zimmerlee, Sr., Artur Werle, Margaret Werle. He is survived by his sons, Bailey Michael Stewart (Destinee Troupe) of Hendersonville and Hayden Charles Zimmerlee of Hendersonville; parents, William Hardin Zimmerlee, Jr. and Hedwig Berta Werle Zimmerlee of Hendersonville; grandmother, Virginia McMahon of Madison; brothers, William Zimmerlee III (Lindsay) of White House, William Uchtman of Hendersonville, and Bob Uchtman of Hendersonville; sisters, Elena Uchtman of Hendersonville and Laura Gehrett (Rhyse) of West Plains, MO; special sister, Lisa Brown (John) of Fountain Run, KY; 2 grandchildren, Carleyshea Jeanette Briley of Goodlettsville and Bailey Michael “M.J.” Stewart, Jr. of Hendersonville; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Zimmerlee was a cabinet maker and mechanic. He was an artist and loved camping, canoeing the Buffalo River, baseball cards, comic books, and cooking.
