Obituary of William "Bill" Hodges

William “Bill” Hodges, age 87 of Gallatin passed away Friday, September 11, 2020. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, September 15th at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Brother Nick Baskerville officiating. Interment will follow the service at Rock Bridge Cemetery, with Anthony Cook, Wesley Hodges, Logan Hodges, Rick Hodges, Ethan Hodges, Blake Hodges, Eugene Brooks, and Gunner Baskerville serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Monday, September 14th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, September 15th from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. Mr. Hodges was born April 18, 1933 to the late Callye Gilbert Hodges and Alice Brown Hodges. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Junior “J.R.” Hodges, Gailon Hodges, Glenn Hodges, Nathan “Joe” Hodges, Ray Hodges, Bobby Hodges, Talmadge Hodges, and Leo Hodges; and mother of his children, Martha Brooks Hodges. He is survived by a brother, Wayne Hodges; children, Randy Hodges of Portland, Paul Hodges (Lisa) of Gallatin, Jerry Hodges of Adolphus, KY, Wendell Hodges of Bethpage, Diane Amons (Leroy) of Lafayette, and Tammy Baskerville (Nick) of Portland; grandchildren, Anthony Cook (Melissa), Tiffany Gray, Wesley Hodges, Jessica Hodges, Callie Hodges, Logan Hodges, Morgan Baskerville, Gunner Baskerville, and Nicole Givens; great grandchildren, Ethan Hodges, Hayden Hodges, McKennon Hodges, Courtney Cook, Katy Cook, Nick Gray, Hunter Gray, Caleb Gray, Blake Hodges, and Bailey Biggers; great-great grandchild Aubrey Hodges; and several nieces and nephews whom he loved as his own.
