Obituary of Edith Ethridge Osburn

Edith Ethridge Osburn, age 77 of Gallatin, joined her life-long partner in their eternal home Friday, September 11, 2020. There will be a service at a later date. Mrs. Osburn was born April 17, 1943 in Rhine, GA to the late Talmadge Olin Ethridge and Luciel Yawn Ethridge. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford H. Osburn. She is survived by her son, Quinn Osburn (Shari) of Indianapolis, IN; her daughter, Tamatha Carpentier (Ken) of Panama City, FL; sisters, Wendy Scowden (Tom) of Gallatin, TN and Carole Truby-Bisges (Stan) of Jefferson City, MO; 2 grandsons, Colin Carpentier (Hannah) of Georgia and Sheldon Carpentier of Florida; 2 great grandchildren, Ember Carpentier and Annabeth Carpentier; her pet companion, Oreo; and cousins, nephews, nieces, and good friends in Indiana and Florida. Mrs. Osburn was an Air Force wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She had three passions: Faith, Family, and Friends. Edith was patient, loving, kind, giving, caring, gentle, meek, forgiving, and accepting.
