Ms. Mary Jo Wix Bullington, age 79, of Lafayette, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at Skyline Medical Center. Funeral services for Mary Jo Bullington are scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, September 27, 2020, at 1 PM from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Reverend Landy Presley officiating. Interment will follow in the Shrum Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Saturday, September 26, 2020, from 4 PM until 9 PM, and on Sunday, from 10 AM until service time at 1 PM. Family request donations be to the New Beginnings Church Of God. Mary Jo is preceded in death by; Sons, Kenneth W. Bullington, Kerry D. Bullington; Infant Son, Kelly L. Bullington; Parents, Homer Wix and Lorene Green Wix; Brothers, Jesse Wix, Harold Wix, Ronnie Wix, and Jackie Wix; Sister, Helen “Sis” Huffines; Infant sister, Janice Wix. Mary Jo Bullington is survived by; Daughter, Brenda Thompson Siblings, Robert Wix and wife, Julie Nancy Anderson Grandchildren, Derrick Bullington and wife, Ashley Amber Troutt and husband, Steven Mitchell Thompson and wife Courtney Ashley Bullington Carter and husband, Tyler Eleven Great-Grandchildren also survive.
