Ms. Jessie Kaffrey York Driver, age 89, of Lafayette, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2020, at Macon Community Hospital in Lafayette. There will be a memorial service scheduled for a later date.
Jessie Driver was preceded in death by her son, Terry Lee “Jack Hammer” Driver; parents, Birchie “Lemon” York and Lura Rae Eakle York; brothers, Denton Ray York and George Kinnard York; sisters, Imojean Copas, Margaret Christine Barber, and Vaughn D’Lee York Cothron; and infant sister, Elizabeth Nell York.
