Obituary of Charles William Cox

Charles William Cox entered this world in Gallatin, TN on January 13, 1940 then opened his eyes for the first time in the presence of Jesus on October 10, 2020. Charles was a humble man with a huge heart. He loved animals, flower gardening, reading, music, Vanderbilt baseball, Green Wave football but above all spending time with his son and watching TV with his beloved wife of 62 years, Pat, or "Sissy" as he called her. Charles is survived by his wife, Pat, son Craig (Kim),brothers Larry (Barbara), Donald (Joyce) and great niece Megan (Ethan). He is preceded in death by his parents, William “Doc” Cox and Gladys May Gross Cox; brothers Melvin and Joe, and his partner in crime, his cat Arnold. Visitation will be held at Family Heritage Funeral Home, 100 Albert Gallatin Ave, Gallatin, TN 37066, on Wednesday, October 14th from 11:00 a.m. until time to leave for the Graveside Service. Graveside Service will be Wednesday, October 14th at 2:00 p.m. at Crestview Memory Gardens.
