Obituary of Lula Mae Guidry

GUIDRY, Lula Mae, age 87 of Mt. Juliet passed away October 12, 2020 surrounded by her son, Dennis, daughter, Vicki and daughter-in-law, Cindy. For the majority of her life, Lula lived in Louisiana until her final move with her husband of 65 years, Joseph, to Nashville, TN. She was a devout Catholic and dearly loved her grandbabies. A true fan of the New Orleans Saints, she enjoyed Cajun food, Cajun music and Cajun dancing with her husband. Preceded in death by husband of 65 years, Joseph Weston Guidry; parents, Camille Leger and Effie Faulk; sister, Azilda and Eva; and brothers, Eugene, Tommy and Royce. She is survived by children, Dennis (Cindy) Guidry, Vicki (Paul) Boudreaux, Kenneth (Cathy) Guidry, Denise (Michael) Bork and Timothy Guidry; brothers, Raymond Leger and Louis Guidry; grandchildren, Nicholas (Audra) Guidry, Ryan (Misty) Guidry, Blake Guidry, Rebecca (Brian) Babyak, Glenn Mason (Haley) Guidry, Dominic Briggs, Jessica (Dominic) Di Fatta, Chris (Amy) Bork, Marci Bork, and Timothy Guidry, Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Jude Guidry, Emerson Guidry, Avery Babyak, Isabella Di Fatta and Rocco Di Fatta. Funeral services will be Friday, October 16th at 4:00 pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. Visitation with the family will be Friday, October 16th from 2-4 pm.
