Obituary of James E. Cooper
James E. Cooper, age 83 of Gallatin, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2020. Graveside Service will be Monday, October 26th at 2:00 p.m. at Sumner Memorial Gardens, with Rev. John Casey officiating and family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be at Family Heritage Funeral Home from 11:30 a.m. until time to leave for the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice. The family respectfully asks that everyone who attends the visitation and/or service wear a mask (masks are available at the funeral home).
Mr. Cooper was born June 21, 1937 in Westmoreland to the late Olie Cooper and Bera Key Cooper. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Donna Faye Perdue Cooper; brother, Harley Cooper; and sisters, Betty Anton, Nettie Mai Cannon, and Frances Parrish. He is survived by his son, Jeff Cooper of Hendersonville; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Cooper retired from G.E./Bosch after many years of service.
