Obituary of David Ray Smith

Mr. David Ray Smith, age 59, of Lafayette, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at Sumner Regional in Gallatin. Funeral services for David Smith are scheduled to be conducted on Friday, November 20, 2020, at 11 AM from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Brother Derrick Dickens officiating. Interment will follow in the Eulia Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Thursday, November 19, 2020, from 12 PM until 8 PM and on Friday from 9 AM until service time at 11 AM. The family respectfully request donations be made towards the funeral expense. David Ray Smith was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Bandy Smith; parents, Donald Smith and Rita Watson Smith; and an infant brother. He is survived by; Daughter, Amber East and husband, Scott Son, Toby Smith and fiancé, Kayla Jones Granddaughter, Kiera Dyer Brothers, Dwight Smith and wife, Martha J.T. Smith Sister, Teresa Smith Mother-in-law, Wilma Bandy Sisters-in-law, Wanda Morgan and husband, Steve Dorris Bandy and significant other, Terry Dozier Brothers-in-law, David Bandy and wife, Patty Michael Bandy and wife, Missy Charlie Bandy and wife, Heather Billy Bandy Special Friend, Brittany Sparks A host of nieces and nephews also survive.
