Obituary of Amy Youkyung Deocampo

Amy Youkyung (Park) Deocampo, 56, of Old Hickory, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, November 19th. Funeral service will be held at Sellars Funeral Home on Sunday, November 22 at 4 pm with Reverend Yoonmin Kim of Nashville Korean Presbyterian Church officiating. The service will be private. Amy was born in Seoul, South Korea to Sangmoon Park and Seim Oh on April 3rd, 1964. She earned a degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Korea Armed Forces Nursing Academy. She started her career as a Korea Armed Forces Nurse, Second Lieutenant and served for five years until she retired as a Captain. She continued her nursing career as a registered nurse in Nashville until 2019. She enjoyed reading, decorating and spending time with family and Jolie, her beloved dog. She was a dedicated wife, loving sister and aunt. Amy is survived by her husband, Statee Deocampo of Old Hickory, Mother Seim Oh, Sister Heekyung Park (Boojong Kim), Sister Jeankyung (Park) Suh (Yong Suh), Sister Mookyung Park, Mother-in-Law, Anecita Deocampo, Sisters-and-Brothers-in-Law, Rona, Nelly, Marlon and Marlowe Deocampo, Nieces Ein Kim, Erin Suh, and Katerielle Deocampo, Nephews Youngin Kim, Jesse Suh and Ryan Abdulgawad.
