Obituary of Robert Ray Williamson
Robert Ray Williamson, age 80 of Gallatin, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020. Funeral Service will be Saturday, November 28th at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Jim Cherry officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, November 28th from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Hendersonville Memory Gardens, with Andrew Boyd, Brandon Boyd, Josh Porter, Barry Carter, Adam Williamson, and Johnny Roy serving as pallbearers.
Mr. Williamson was born June 3, 1940 in Cullman, AL to the late Lila Williamson. He is survived by wife of 58 years, Jo Ann Chambers Williamson of Gallatin; children, Tammy Johnson of Gallatin, Tracy Carter (Barry) of Gallatin, Kim Porter (Ronnie) of Portland, and Adam Williamson (Amy) of Gallatin; sister, Pat Potter (Hugh) of Scottsboro, AL; cousin, Martha Ann Powe of Cullman, AL; 13 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. Mr. Williamson served our country in the United States Armed Forces. He served as a Deacon at Nashville Road Church of Christ. Robert retired from Steiner Lift as a crane mechanic after 29 years of service, and worked at Industrial Machine for 12 years. Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
