Obituary of Barbara Craighead

Barbara Craighead, age 73 of Gallatin, passed away Monday, November 30, 2020. Funeral Service will be Saturday, December 5th at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday, December 5th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please bring an unwrapped toy to the funeral home for “Remembering Jonathan Spencer Annual Toy Drive”. Rittenberry and Ersa Myrtle Katherine Cole Rittenberry. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by son-in-law, Leroy Birdwell. She is survived by husband of 32 years, Ron Craighead of Gallatin; children, Tammie Birdwell of Cottontown, Kim Johnson (Tony) of Joelton, Scotty Duke (Jackie) of Gallatin Vanessa Vance-Lynch (Brett) of Gallatin, Anthony Prince of Gallatin, and Chad Craighead (Sasha) of Gallatin; brother, Jimmy Rittenberry of Alabama; sister, Mary Lee Rittenberry of Indiana; grandchildren, Wesley Fuqua, Lacy Suddarth, Eric Birdwell, Kelly Birdwell, Hailey Duke, Shannon McGuire, Brandi Blevins, Bobby Blackwell, Jessica Tate, Zachary Howell, Ava Craighead, Austin Craighead, Marshall, Dakota, Cheyenne and Cali Lynch; and great grandchildren, Jordan Prince, Kaylynn Fuqua, Barbara Tate, Sara Prince, Serenity Tate, Josie Tate, Heavenly Tate, Kassitie Tate, Jayda Suddarth, Keelie Fuqua, Carson McGuire, Zoe Blackwell, Parker McGuire, Christyn Suddarth, and Bellamy McGuire. She was the owner of the Hideaway Lounge in Gallatin for many years. She always put her family before everything else!
