My dad, Clayton Kilgore, was a district manager with JCP from 1964-1987 with districts in AL, MS, TN, FL, and LA, so I expect he knew Carolyn at some point. He had a massive stroke 6 years ago and has no memory so I can’t ask him, but he loved the JCP family. I’m sorry for your loss.

Carolyn was such a bright light to anyone she encountered. From the moment I interviewed her for a job at Bank of America I knew how special she was. I still can't believe she's gone. But so grateful that we shared so much over the past 37 years or so.
Too many stories to share. Our children grew up together...same schools, same church, same parties...I could write a book. She has left a big hole in our lives. But then again so happy I met her.
God's peace Carolyn. Thank you for all those years of fun & laughter. And we'll carry on in God's kingdom someday.

It came as a shock to me that Carolyn has passed. Carolyn and worked together at the JC Penney store in Providence Mt.Juliet as a team and were very proud of the accomplishments. She was Avery good manager who know her job and stood up for standards of the store. She was honest, loving and kind and will be greatly missed. The family have my greatest condolence. Alphie Duncan

I had the opportunity to work with Carolyn at Bank of America during her special project work. She was one of the Best, together with Latricia , they travel across the SE. Carolyn was dependable and a wonderful leader. I am sadden to hear about her sudden passing and want her husband and family to know she will be missed by many.

I shared with Carolyn hysterical gut laughter, singing, laughing, crying, and the joy of overcoming the worst tragedy imaginable.
I thank God that our paths crossed, because there is only one spirit like Carolyn Dickerson, and I'll always be grateful she, and her family were a part of our lives. I can hear her hearty laughter even now , and it makes me smile.
I wish the peace that passes all understanding to Joe, Jason and Joanna.

Carolyn had a beautiful smile and a laugh that was contagious. I met her in Marianna, FL, when I was in middle school. I became close to the family over the years, often visiting when I was in college. I always hoped to have a family of my own that was similar to that of Carolyn, Joe, Jason, and Joanna. I always enjoyed spending time with all of them and loved that they treated me like a family member. I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Carolyn's death. She was an amazing woman and I have admired her for many years. Sending my love and deepest condolences to the entire family. You all have a special place in my heart.

My sweetest memory is very early in life, of her teaching me me how to ride that bike, and and always always playing dress up w me doing hair and makeup. Growing up in a house full of boys I was very glad to have a big " sister " who always made time for me when I was such a little girl.
