Obituary of Mary Jane Monachino

Mary Jane Monachino, loving mother and grandmother, passed away on Friday, December 11th, 2020 at age 87. Mary Jane Estabrooke was born on Monday, February 20th, 1933 in Trenton, New Jersey, a daughter of the late Harry Chester and Julia Deblois Estabrooke. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 3 brothers (Harry, Leonard, Richard); her beloved husband, George Monachino, Sr.; devoted son, George Monachino, Jr.; and grandson, Stephan Michael Levitt. She is survived by her daughters, Donna (Dean) Westover and Darlene Monachino; daughter-in-law, Debra Monachino; grandchildren, Michelle (Michael) Patch, David (Heather) Levitt, Tammy (Ryan) Carver, George Joseph (Jamie) Monachino, III, Scott (Theresa) Levitt, and Jaime Kirby; 12 great-grandchildren also survive. Mary Jane was a devout Catholic who cherished her family and friends. She enjoyed swimming, baking, and doting on her cats. She raised her children to be strong and was a wonderful caregiver for her daughter, Darlene. Mary Jane was the loveliest definition of what all a lady should be. A beautiful soul, she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. The family respectfully request memorial contributions be addressed to Catholic Charities in memory of Mary Jane.
