Obituary of Helen Dean Quigley

Helen Dean Conkerton Quigley, wife of the late Julian B. Quigley, passed away peacefully at her home in Mt. Juliet, TN with her 3 children at her side. She is survived by her children J. B. Quigley, II, Anne Q. Bruff (Barry), Denise Quigley, her brother, William A. Conkerton, Jr., and her cousin, Lois C. Sibille. Preceded in death by her parents Alfreda M. Conkerton and William A. Conkerton, Sr. Helen Dean was a graduate of McMain High School, a Lakeview resident and Parishioner of St. Dominic Church before Hurricane Katrina. Helen Dean and Julian relocated to Mt. Juliet, TN. She worked at the UNO Federal Credit Union. Many thanks to Caylie, Kayla and Tericka from Avalon Hospice for their care and support during this difficult time. She will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery. Due to Covid-19, a graveside service will be held in New Orleans in early 2021.
